Radial Length Dimension

Available in: Pro and Architectural

Use this function to create a dimension around and arc, effectively the dimension shows the circumferential length.

Click on the button Radial Length Dimension button and the Ribbon changes to show the current dimension properties. The prompt reads:

Give Arc Start Point:

Select the first point of the arc using any of the snaps and input options. A dynamic line will be drawn from this point to the cursor. The prompt now reads:

Give Arc Centre Point:

Select the centre point of the arc using any of the snaps and input options. A dynamic radial linear dimension is now drawn from the 1st point indicated, the cursor position and this centre point. The prompt now reads:

Give Arc End Point:

Select the arc end point of the line using any of the snaps and input options. All of the points apart the position of the dimension itself are defined. The prompt now reads:

Give Dimension Point:

Select the position of the dimension using any of the snaps and input options. The dimension will be drawn and is complete.
